System STANDARD ROK

System STANDARD ROK

System STANDARD ROK is a new and unique approach to traditional pipe-in-screed underfloor heating, incorporating mineral wool insulation for exceptional acoustic and thermal insulation in addition to excellent fire resistance.

With the ever-increasing concern surrounding the flammability of construction materials Jupiter have launched an underfloor heating system based on fire-resistant mineral wool insulation. The 30 mm mineral wool panels are covered with a stitched on, woven polyethylene sheet. This protects the insulation and its printed grid makes it simple for the installer to position pipes accurately.

The perimeter insulation is also made from mineral wool and comes with an integrated tanking strip to prevent screed from creeping under the panels.

Product Benefits:

  • Exceptional fire-resistance.
  • The system meets the minimum insulation requirement for upper floors R-value 0.75 m² K/ W.
  • Increased sound insulation.
  • Totally bio-degradable.
  • Loadable to 20 kN / m².
  • Contains 50% less primary energy than a normal PIR insulation.
  • Complies with insulated floor screeds in building construction requirement, DIN 18560-2.
  • R-Value complies with EN1264.
  • Composed of Rockwool MW 035 DES sm.
  • As well as the obvious fire resistance benefit, System STANDARD ROK has delivers excellent acoustic properties. These combined properties make the system very suitable for apartment projects where both Part E compliance and fire resistance are of paramount importance.
  • Suitable for min. 65 mm sand / cement screeds and 55 mm anhydrite screed.
  • The JUPITER System STANDARD ROK is a new non-flammable system based on Rockwool mineral insulation. Available in varying thicknesses (standard 30 mm) System STANDARD ROK insulation is manufactured with a stitched on, gridded PE foil that allows pipe clip rails to be easily aligned and fixed.

Installation Guide

01
Begin by placing the perimeter insulation against the wall. When using floor insulation ≥ 5 cm fix the perimeter insulation to the wall above the insulation.

02

03
Ensure that the clear flap (tanking strip) of the perimeter insulation is positioned above the STANDARD ROK. This is to prevent future screed from getting within the perimeter insulation and the panels.
