Traditional Screed Systems
Traditional Screed Systems
There are a few scenarios where a traditional pipe-in-screed type system must be used. Where a cavity drain membrane is to be used in a basement the mass of a screed may be required to mitigate flotation risk. Where a thick traditional polished concrete finish is to be installed the benefits of a panel-based system underneath are lost to the mass of the screed.
Here you can trust JUPITER’s design expertise and in-house installation teams to provide a traditional underfloor heating system, designed correctly and with consideration for the chosen floor finishes.
System STANDARD
Pipework is clipped into self-adhesive rails at pre-determined distances onto primary insulation. Perfect for standard sand / cement screeds, polished concrete finishes, liquid anhydrite screeds and cast in-situ terrazzo floors.
System CASTELLATED
An alternative to pipe clipped on to insulation, System CASTELLATED offers a more robust installation that can better withstand the rigours of normal site traffic. System CASTELLATED is suitable for all types of screed and concrete floors.
System STANDARD ROK
With the building industry becoming ever more conscious of the effects of incorporating flammable products, Jupiter have developed a new solution: System STANDARD ROK. This new system is based on mineral wool manufactured by the world’s leading supplier of fire-retardant insulation. Not only does the system provide total fire retardancy, it also offers outstanding acoustic properties.
As more and more specifications insist upon fireproof materials, JUPITER’s System STANDARD ROK sets the benchmark in screed-based underfloor heating systems.
System RED
Innovative and cost-effective: SYSTEM RED utilises a proven hook-and-loop fixing system to provide a rapidly installed pipe-in-screed system for both bonded and unbonded screeds.
This unique system permits the installation of a traditional system without puncturing any membranes or insulation installed below.
