Ideal NEO19

Ideal NEO19

Low-profile underfloor heating panels available elsewhere are commonly afflicted with the same shortcomings: small pipe diameter and minimal if any insulation. These contribute to poor heat output performance which is completely at odds with the retrofit scenario in which they are most commonly specified—JUPITER set out to change that.

No compromise necessary

JUPITER’s Ideal NEO19 heating panels are equipped with the same rigid aluminium heat diffusion plates, and 16 mm multi-layer composite pipework that lends our other heating panels their market-leading performance and compatbility with low temperature heating systems.

To offset the loss in insulation thickness that is inevitable in developing a low profile heating panel, we elected to back the panel using BASF’s advanced NeoPor insulation. NeoPor is a graphite polystyrene that offers 30% more thermal resistance than traditional EPS.

Product Benefits:

  • Advanced graphite polystyrene NeoPor insulation provides maximum insulation value at minimal depth whilst retaining breathability.
  • Ideal NEO19 is perfect for retrofit where it provides the lowest profile professional underfloor heating system, incorporating a professional 16mm multi-layer-composite pipework.
  • Rigid 0.5 mm thick aluminium heat diffusion plates ensures maximum heat output, even at the reduced flow temperatures heat pumps operate most efficiently at.
  • Aluminium spreader plates are integral to the panel and will not creak or squeak as inferior renditions of this product often do.
  • As the aluminium is a plate rather than a foil, it is able to sit in perfect contact with the pipe around the majority of its circumference by virtue of the cleverly designed and bevelled omega profile in the plates.
  • Our pipe clips robustly into these panels, this is simply not possible with inferior foil-faced panels where the pipe breaks the foil as it is installed.
  • Separate header panels, equipped exclusively with aluminium heat diffusion plates, provide superior pipework layouts and insulation values by contrast to ‘all-in-one’ heating panels which attempt to incorporate these into their design.

Installation Guide

01
Install perimeter insulation to walls and position support battens on a dry and level substrate.

01

02
For the best results Ideal NEO19 panels should be adhered to the substrate using solvent-free adhesive such as JUPITER PowerPrimer.

02

03
Panels should be adhered to substrate according to supplied layout drawing. It is recommended that a ‘dry’ installation run is done first.

03

04
NEO19 panels can be snapped or cut to size.

04

05
Mark pipe channels in front of manifold.

05

06
Cut panels as required using a circular saw or jig saw between the aluminium plates. Never cut panels through pipe channel as this can cause damage to pipe.

06

07
Vacuum pipe channels before installing pipe.

07

08
To successfully install pipe reel to hold pipe coil.

08

09
Pipe can be bent by hand and pressed into channels around bends.

09

10
The pipe is installed best by foot on long straight runs.
