JUPITER Heating Systems Ltd was started in 2004 and was one of the first companies in the UK to specialise in screedless underfloor heating systems. We design, manufacture, supply and install our own unique range of water based underfloor heating and cooling systems. After seventeen years, we have earned a reputation of delivering high quality systems and an outstanding installation service. We have recently expanded into the renewable heating sector and are now an MCS accredited company, specialising in the installation of air and ground source heat pumps.
What is a CPD?
Continuing Professional Development (CPD) is a scheme designed to develop the knowledge and skills needed to perform in a professional context. This could mean expanding upon current skills or learning new ones entirely. CPD attendance is a requirement for membership of most professional bodies, which means there are millions of professionals across the UK who are required to undertake CPD training every year.
What is our CPD about?
Our CPD is entitled ‘Solutions to Common Problems with the Installation and Performance of Underfloor Heating Systems’ and is accredited by the CPD Accreditation Service. The presentation typically lasts one hour and is held virtually via Microsoft Teams, or if you are a local practise, an in-person presentation is an option as well. Before the seminar, you will be sent a sample box, the contents of which will be referred to during the presentation. Topics covered include problems with traditional screed systems, retrofitting underfloor heating between floor joists, screedless floor levelling techniques, Part L and Part E compliant systems and compatible heat sources.
